It is strongly recommended that you read and understand these ‘Terms of Use’ carefully, as by accessing this site (hereinafter the “Marketplace”), you agree to be bound by the same and acknowledge that it constitutes an agreement between you and the Company (hereinafter the “User Agreement”). Services Overview

The Marketplace is a platform for domestic consumers to transact with third party sellers, who have been granted access to the Marketplace to display and offer products for sale through the Marketplace. For abundant clarity, the Company does not provide any services to users other than providing the Marketplace as a platform to transact at their own cost and risk, and other services as may be specifically be notified in writing.

The Company is not and cannot be a party to any transaction between you and the third party sellers, or have any control, involvement or influence over the products purchased by you from such third party sellers or the prices of such products charged by such third-party sellers. The Company therefore disclaims all warranties and liabilities associated with any products offered on the Marketplace.

Services on the Marketplace are available to only select geographies in India, and are subject to restrictions based on business hours and days of third party sellers.

Transactions through the Marketplace may be subject to a delivery charge where the minimum order size is not met. You will be informed of such delivery charge at the stage of check-out for a transaction through the Marketplace.

Eligibility

Persons who are “incompetent to contract” within the meaning of the Indian Contract Act, 1872 including minors, un-discharged insolvents etc. are not eligible to use/access the Marketplace.

However, if you are a minor, i.e. under the age of 18 years, you may use/access the Marketplace under the supervision of an adult parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms of Use. You are however prohibited (even under provision) from purchasing any product(s) which is for adult consumption, the sale of which to minors is prohibited.

The Marketplace is intended to be a platform for end-consumers desirous of purchasing product(s) for domestic self-consumption. If you are a retailer, institution, wholesaler or any other business user, you are not eligible to use the Marketplace to purchase products from third-party sellers, who have been granted access to the Marketplace to display and offer their products for sale through the Marketplace.

The Company, in its sole discretion and without liability, reserves the right to terminate or refuse your registration, or refuse to permit use/access to the Marketplace, if: (i) it is discovered or brought to notice that you do not conform to the eligibility criteria, or (ii) the Company has reason to believe (including through evaluating usage patterns) that the eligibility criteria is not met/is violated by a user, or (iii) may breach the terms of this User Agreement.

In order to determine compliance with eligibility criteria, the Company inter alia uses an algorithm and/or pre-determined criteria based technology and accordingly, from time to time, your usage may be restricted or blocked on account of overlap with such algorithms/pre-determined criteria. In such cases, if you are a genuine domestic user of the Platform, please contact us for assistance.

License & Access

The Company grants you a limited sub-license to access and make personal use of the Marketplace, but not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it, except with express prior written consent of the Company. Such limited sublicense does not include/permit any resale or commercial use of the Marketplace or its contents; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use of the Marketplace or its contents; any downloading or copying of information for the benefit of another third party; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools. The Marketplace or any portion of the Marketplace may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without express prior written consent of the Company. You may not frame or utilize framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo, or other proprietary information (including images, text, page layout, or form) of the Marketplace or of the Company and/or its affiliates without the express prior written consent of the Company. You may not use any meta tags or any other “hidden text” utilizing the Company’s name or trademarks without the express prior written consent of the Company. You shall not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion or feature of the Marketplace, or any other systems or networks connected to the Marketplace or to any server, computer, network, or to any of the services offered on or through the Marketplace, by hacking, ‘password mining’ or any other illegitimate means.

You hereby agree and undertake not to host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, update or share any information

  1. belongs to another person and to which you do not have any right;
  2. is grossly harmful, harassing, blasphemous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically objectionable, disparaging, relating or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or otherwise unlawful in any manner whatever;
  3. harms minors in any way;
  4. infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or another proprietary/intellectual property rights;
  5. violates any law for the time being in force;
  6. deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of such messages communicates any information which is grossly offensive or menacing in nature;
  7. impersonates another person;
  8. contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource;
  9. threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order or causes incitement to the commission of any cognizable offense or prevents investigation of any offense or is insulting any other nation;
  10. is misleading or known to be false in any way.

Any unauthorized use shall automatically terminate the permission or sub-license granted by the Company.

Account & Registration Obligations

All users must register and log in for placing orders on the Marketplace. You must keep your account and registration details current and correct for all communications related to your purchases from the Marketplace. By agreeing to the Terms of Use, the user agrees to receive promotional or transactional communication and newsletters from the Company and its partners. The user can opt out from such communication and/or newsletters either by or by contacting the customer services team of Marketplace and placing a request for the same.

As part of the registration process on the Marketplace, the Company may collect the following personally identifiable information about you, including but not limited to Name , email address, age, address mobile phone number and other contact details, demographic profile (like your age, gender, occupation, education, address etc.) and information about the pages on the Marketplace you visit/access, the links you click on the Marketplace, the number of times you access a particular page/feature and any such information. Information collected about you is subject to the Privacy Policy of the Company (https://grofers.com/privacy), which is incorporated in these Terms of Use by reference.

Pricing

The Company aims to ensure that prices of all products offered for sale are true and correct. However, from time to time, the prices of certain products may not be current or may be inaccurate on account of technical issues, typographical errors or incorrect product information provided to the Company by third-party seller. In each such case, notwithstanding anything to the contrary, the Company reserves the right to cancel the order without any further liability.

Subject to the foregoing, the price mentioned at the time of ordering a product shall be the price charged at the time of delivery, provided that no product offered for sale on the Marketplace will be sold at a price higher than its MRP (Maximum Retail Price).

Order Limit

  • A customer is eligible to place 4 live orders.
  • A customer cannot place his 5th order if his 4 orders are still live.
  • Live order refers to all those orders which are not delivered.
  • Single customer can place 4 different orders at once.

Coupons and Promo Codes (Currently there is restrictions on coupon codes and Orange cash)

From a time to time, the Company may at its discretion offer a user promotional codes or coupons entitling you to encash the applicable value of such codes/coupons against purchases made on the Marketplace. Unless specifically stated on the code or coupon, a promotional code or coupon shall:

  1. Expire at 12:00 AM (inclusive of the issuance date) from the date of issuance endorsed thereon;
  2. Have a maximum discount or cashback value of INR 50.00 only.

At the time of using promotional codes and coupons for a purchase on the Marketplace, the payment mode “cash on delivery” shall not be available for making payments towards the order.

Grofers Cashback

These terms and conditions relating to eligibility for Cashback shall be in addition to and not in substitution of or derogation to the terms and conditions governing the use/access of Marketplace.

  1. A user shall be entitled to cashback on a specific purchase/order as indicated at the time of checkout of the final order on the Marketplace.
  2. No Cashback shall be available for orders which are canceled. Any Cashback offered may be recovered by the Company, without notice to the user, in such cases. Any Cashback offered for orders for which a refund claim is made, whether in part or in full, shall be adjusted to remove Cashback attributable to the extent of the order refunded. This condition shall apply strictly and notwithstanding the display of cashback on any specific item(s) listed on the Application as an item specific cashback.
  3. Cashback shall mean the grant of credit for the amount of eligible cashback, shall be added to the users ‘Promotional/Cashback’ section of his/her ‘Grofers Wallet’ account, and shall in no event imply that the cashback shall be credited to a user’s bank account or card account or refunded in cash at any time. Grofers Wallet is powered by Citruspay and use thereof is subject to additional terms and conditions.
  4. Cashback offers cannot be clubbed with any other offers and cannot be assigned/ transferred to any other person.
  5. The Company reserves the right to, without liability or prejudice to any of its other rights, at any time, without previous notice and from time to time, withdraw/suspend / amend/cancel the Cashback offers, and the terms applicable thereto.
  6. Cashback will reflect in a user’s Grofers Wallet within 6-12 hours; however, for some coupons it can take 7 working days from the delivery of the order for the cashback to reflect.Cashback credit available is usable only on the Application and no other platform, website, store or otherwise. Promotional cashback credited can be subjected to expire at the discretion of Grofers.
    Cashback will expire after a minimum duration of 60 days from last order unless specified or added through a separate campaign, which can be subject to a shorter expiry time.
  7. Users shall not hold the Company or its group entities, or affiliates, their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, responsible for or liable for, any actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, charges and expenses which a user claims to have suffered, sustained or incurred, or claims to suffer, sustain or incur, by way of and/or on account of any purchase made through the Application, whether with or without Cashback.
  8. The Company does not in any manner endorse or support or promote, in any specific manner, the purchase of products or undertaking of transactions inter alia which are subject to Cashbacks.
  9. Cashbacks are only available on versions 2.5 and above of the Application.
  10. Cashback and discount codes are not applicable on ghee, edible oil, baby food products and any cashback amount used from Grofers Wallet while placing the order.
  11. GROFERS20 is valid only for new users. 20% cashback on your first order. Maximum cashback is Rs.250 . Minimum Order Value of Rs.500. Cashback will be credited to your Orange Cash.

Grofers is now live with UPI 

Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is an instant real-time payment system developed by National Payments Corporation of India facilitating inter-bank transactions. The interface is regulated by the Reserve Bank of India and works by instantly transferring funds between two bank accounts on a mobile platform.

UPI is built over Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) for transferring funds.

How does it work?

  • UPI would appear as a separate tab on the Payment Options page on your android application
  • Once you click on the UPI option, it would scan your device to find out the UPI apps on your phone
  • You can choose one of the apps to pay for the order and complete the transaction

Refund against the transaction (if any) would be reflected in your respective account within 5-7 working days post initiation

  1. How can I cancel a recurring fee?  
 
You can cancel the subscription(s) anytime before the end of the subscription period through the “Smart Bachat Club Section/Page” of the app. Once cancelled, you will not be charged the membership fee automatically at the end of the subscription cycle.
 
  1. How do I cancel my membership and get the refund?

No, membership once delivered could not be cancelled.

  1. Is the membership fee final?

Membership plans are currently offered at introductory prices and are liable to change at Grofers’ discretion. In case of any update in the membership fee, you don’t have to pay anything extra for your ongoing plan. However, the plan renewals will happen at updated prices only.

  1. Can I club Grofers cashback, wallet offers, bank offers, etc with my orders during this membership?

Yes, you can enjoy both wholesale prices and other offers that are available on the Grofers platform from time to time. Some coupons and offers might have certain restrictions. Please refer to the offer T&C.

You can choose to pay for your Smart Bachat Club membership with your Grofers cash balance. However, you can’t pay for this membership with Sodexo coupons.

  1. Is the lowest prices challenge applicable on club prices?

Yes, we guarantee lowest prices on certain products available on the Grofers platform.

  1. Am I eligible for quicker order delivery than normal with this membership?

Yes, membership entitles you to priority delivery slots – same day & next day.

11 What is the maximum number of orders that I can place during the membership period?

There is no limit to the number of orders that you can place on the Grofers platform.

  1. Can I use Simpl during the membership and use the postpaid facility?

Earlier we were accepting Simpl wallet as a mode of payment. However, as for now, we are not accepting Simpl wallet. 

  1. What is the minimum order value for free delivery? My total cart value will be calculated on club prices or normal prices?

If you are a member of the Smart Bachat Club, the total cart value will be calculated on the club prices.

  1. How do I get an invoice for my Smart Bachat Club membership?

  1. How can I cancel my SBC membership plan in a live order?

No, membership once delivered cannot be cancelled. However, you can cancel the live order and the refund against the entire order will be credited to the original mode of payment.

  1. Who can order using Smart Bachat Club membership?

Smart Bachat Club membership at Grofers only allows end Consumer to place an order at prices available for Smart Bachat Club Members. Without prejudice, the Company reserves all its rights to cancel an order(s) against the rules for Smart Bachat Club Members.

  1. What is the validity of Smart Bachat Club membership?

Smart Bachat Club membership can be bought for a period of 1 month (31 days), 3 months (Rs.135) wherein 1-month plan is used once, 6 months (186 days) and 12 months (365 days). Membership expires at midnight on the last day of your membership period.

Is there any minimum order value?

There is no minimum order value to place an order with grofers. Every store has its own delivery charges, which are waived off if you order above a specified minimum amount from the store. The minimum charges and the delivery charges are mentioned on the app and web at the checkout page.

How do I avail Free delivery?
 
You don’t need to do anything to avail free delivery. 1 free delivery will automatically be applied once you reach cart value of Rs 499.

What is Grofers Win-Win Program?

  • Grofers Win-Win is a program aimed at rewarding users for their loyalty
  • Customers earn points while shopping on Grofers and doing different activities; every time a customer completes a milestone, s/he earns some points.
  • These points can be exchanged for rewards such as cashback, partner offers (e.g., Ixigo flight discount etc)., products, etc.
  • The rewards, both offers and products, are updated periodically

How do I earn Win-Win points?

For every 10 rupees spent on Grofers, you will earn 1 point. 

How do I redeem the points?

You can redeem your Grofers Win-Win points for rewards if you have the amount of points specified on the reward. Also, only one product per order can be added from the win-win points to your cart while placing the order.

How do I check my earned/redeemed points?

You can check your earned and redeemed points on the Win-Win Points banner, under the “Points History” section. The section clearly shows how many points have been added/used, against which offer/product.

Will I be always able to get the win win points?

My Win-Win points were deducted, but I have not received the product with my order?
Please make sure that you add the product to your cart after redeeming the points. In case the product has not been delivered with your order, don’t worry. While you will still see the points have been deducted, you can add that same product to your cart for your next order from the Win-Win page.

My Win-Win points were deducted and my order, which had that product, was canceled?
You can add the product to your cart again by visiting the Win-WIn page to ensure that the product is delivered to you with your next order.

  12. The Bank reserves the right to modify/change all or any of the terms applicable to this offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in these terms and conditions nor shall run this Offer be construed as an obligation on the Bank to continue the Offer up to the termination/expiry date.
  13. Participation in this Offer is entirely voluntary.
  14. The Offer is non-transferable.
  15. The Offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and / or cannot be made for any reason whatsoever.
  16. All disputes under this Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts / tribunals of Mumbai.
  17. In all matters relating to this Offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.
  18. By participating in the Offer, the Participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
  19. Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the client due to provision of the offer, shall be to the sole account of the customer.

Cancellations

  • As a user, you may cancel an order placed by you before the order enters the “Enroute” stage. For any permitted cancellations, we will refund payments, if any, made by you under the relevant order within approximately 48-72 hours.
  • Orders may be cancelled by the Company in any of the following cases: (a) if it is suspected that a customer has undertaken a fraudulent transaction, or (b) if it is suspected that a customer has undertaken a transaction which does not conform to or violates these Terms of Use/User Agreement, or (c) in case of unavailability of product(s), or (d) for any reason outside the control of the Company including causes for delivery related logistical difficulties. For such cancellations, the Company will refund the payment, if any, made by you under the relevant order within 72 hours.
  • Further, while precautions are taken to ensure accuracy of product specifications, the details of a product as reflected on the Marketplace may be inaccurate due to technical issues, typographical errors or incorrect product information provided to the Company by third party seller and in such an event you shall be notified as soon as such error comes to the notice of the Company. In such event, the Company reserves the right to cancel your order and grant credit/coupon for the value of the returned product. Such credit shall be available for use against a subsequent invoice for transactions on the Marketplace.
  • We maintain a list of all fraudulent transactions and non-complying users, and reserve the right to deny access to such users at any time or cancel any orders placed by them in future.

Returns & Refunds

  • To combat the Corona pandemic, we’re minimising contact points, and hence, will not be able to process returns if not done at doorstep,each return request will be reviewed and actioned considering current situation, all below benefits of return policy are void till 31st March’20.
  • The Marketplace has a “no questions asked return and refund policy” which entitles all users who have purchased a product on the Marketplace to return the product at the time of delivery if they are not satisfied with the quality of the product.
  • Return Policy: If you want to return a product, please keep the product in the original packaging. In addition, the product must be unused and unwashed, with all tags intact.
  • Non-returnable products information visible in the product info/description section on the website/app: A few products may not be eligible for return and will be marked “Non-returnable” on the product details page.
  • In case you are not available at delivery to check the quality of the product(s), you may raise a complaint within 24-48 hours of delivery. Similarly, in case any product is not delivered at the time of delivery, you may raise a complaint within 48 hours of delivery.
  • To pass feedback to the merchants to improve the services, it is mandatory to share the images of the items which you were dissatisfied with. Subject to acceptance from the third-party seller of the product, the Company may take the returned product back and grant credit/coupon in lieu of the value of the returned product. Such credit shall be available for use against a subsequent invoice for transactions on the Marketplace.
  • You may request for a refund/replacement within 7 days of delivery, for Electronics and Cookware products with all original tags & packaging intact in case of any quality issues. It is also requested that a user should check if the product seal is intact (i.e. not broken) while accepting the order to avoid any kind of damage related complaints post delivery.
  • Further, it is clarified that for electronic and cookware products, no returns shall be accepted post 7 days of delivery and the user should get in touch with the Brand/Manufacturer with original invoice given at the time of delivery from Grofers.
    Please note: Few items listed may or may not carry a seller warranty to which Grofers will support basis return policy.
  • Orange Cash will not be applicable on essential grocery items, food and household items.
  • Orange cash is disabled on all categories other than General Merchandise; for example, Home & Kitchen Cleaning Equipment (like Broom, Duster, Mop, Bucket, etc.), Electrical Goods & Accessories (like Furniture, Consumer Electronics, Kitchen appliances, etc.) Ready Masalas, Nuts & Seeds, Namkeen & Snacks, Chips & Crisps, Aerated Soft Drinks, Baking items, Jams & Pickles, Pasta, Furnishing & Home Needs, Home & Kitchen, Pooja Needs, Pet Care and over 2500+ non-essential grocery products. 
  • You’ll be able to see the Orange Cash prices right next to the products on which it is applicable.
     
  • OC Disabled due to COVID19

    To ensure that essential food and household items are available to as many customers as possible during this COVID-19 crisis, OC has been disabled on those items till supplies get back to normal.

  • Refund, if any, shall be made at the same issuing bank through which the Product was purchased. For cash on delivery transactions, the User has the option to receive the refund as Grofers Cash in the Grofers wallet or the refund can be credited in any bank account via NEFT (for which the User shall have to share the bank details).
  • For payments made through electronic means like debit card, credit card, net banking, wallet etc. refund shall be made using the same payment mode.
  • All refunds shall be made in Indian Rupees only.

You Agree and Confirm

  • That in the event any product delivery is delayed or is returned from its destination on account of a mistake by you (e.g. providing the wrong name or address or other incorrect/misleading information), any additional costs incurred by the Company for re-delivery of the product(s) shall be borne by you
  • We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to make delivery of your order if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control.
  • You agree to use the services provided by the Company for lawful purposes only, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using/accessing and transacting on the Marketplace.
  • You will provide authentic and true information in all instances where any information is requested of you. The Company reserves the right to confirm and validate the information and other details provided by you at any point of time.
  • If at any time, the information provided by you is found to be false or inaccurate (wholly or partly), the Company shall have the right in its sole discretion to reject registration, cancel all orders, and debar you from using its services and other affiliated services in the future without any prior intimation whatsoever, and without any liability to you.
  • You are accessing the services made available by the Company and transacting at your sole risk and are using your best and prudent judgement before entering any transaction through the Marketplace.
  • Before placing an order, you acknowledged to have checked and reviewed the product description carefully and in sufficient detail. By placing an order on the Marketplace, you agree to be bound by the conditions of sale included in the item’s description without exception.
  • Notwithstanding the right of the Company on cancellation of the order, any Product in the order may be replaced by the Company in case of unavailability or for other reasons outside the control of the Company, subject to you may refuse to accept such replacement/substitute product. For such cancellations, the Company will refund the payment of the order/product, if any, made by you under the relevant order within 72 hours.

Disclaimers

  • You acknowledge and undertake that you are accessing the services on the website and transacting at your own risk and are using your best and prudent judgement before entering into any transactions. The Company make best efforts to display available products, including in respect of their colour, size, shape and appearance, as accurately as possible. However, the actual colour, size, shape and appearance may have variations from the depiction on your mobile/computer screen.
  • The Company does not make any representation or warranties in respect of the products available on the Marketplace nor does the Company implicitly or explicitly support or endorse the sale or purchase of any products on the Marketplace. The Company accepts no liability for any error, inaccuracy or omission of third parties or for information/inputs received from third parties and provided to you through the Marketplace or otherwise.
  • You acknowledge and agree that the Company shall not, at any time, have any right, title or interest to any product(s), which is subject to a bipartite sale and purchase contract between you and the relevant third party seller. The Company does not have any control over the quality, failure to provide or any other aspect whatsoever of the product(s) and is not responsible for damages or delays on account of products which are out of stock, unavailable or back ordered.

Reviews, Feedback, Submissions

  • All reviews, comments, feedback, suggestions, ideas, and other submissions disclosed, submitted or offered on the Marketplace or otherwise disclosed, submitted or offered in connection with use of the Marketplace (collectively, the Comments) shall be and remain the property of the Company. Such disclosure, submission or offer of any Comments shall constitute an assignment to the Company of all worldwide rights, titles and interests in all copyrights and other intellectual properties in the Comments. Thus, the Company shall exclusively own all such rights, titles and interests in the Comments and shall not be limited in any way in its use, commercial or otherwise.
  • The Company will be entitled to use, reproduce, disclose, modify, adapt, create derivative works from any Comments, and publish, display and distribute any Comments submitted for any purpose whatsoever without restriction and without compensating the user in any way. The Company is and shall be under no obligation to: (i) maintain any Comments in confidence; or (ii) pay compensation for any Comments; or (iii) respond to any Comments. You agree that any Comments submitted by you on the Marketplace will not violate the Terms of Use or any right of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy or other personal or proprietary right(s), and will not cause injury to any person or entity. You further agree that no Comments submitted by you on the Marketplace will be or contain libellous or otherwise unlawful, threatening, abusive or obscene material, or contain software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mails or any form of ‘spam’. The Company does reserve the right (but assumes no obligation) to monitor, edit and/or remove any Comments submitted on the Marketplace. You hereby grant the Company the right to use names that you submit in connection with any Comments. You agree not to use a false email address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of any Comments you submit. You are, and shall remain, responsible for the content of any Comments you make and you agree to indemnify the Company and its affiliates against all claims, loss and liabilities resulting from any Comments you submit.
  • Further, any reliance placed on Comments available on the Marketplace from a third party shall be at your sole risk and expense.

Copyright & Trademark

  • The Company, its suppliers and licensors expressly reserve all intellectual property rights in all text, programs, products, processes, technology, images, content and other materials which appear on the Marketplace. Access to or use of the Marketplace does not confer and should not be considered as conferring upon anyone any license, sub-license to the Company’s intellectual property rights. All rights, including copyright, in and to the Marketplace are owned by or licensed to the Company. Any use of the Marketplace or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part is prohibited without the express prior written consent of the Company.
  • You may not modify, distribute or re-post anything on the Marketplace for any purpose. The names and logos and all related product and service names, design marks and slogans are the trademarks/service marks of the Company, its affiliates, its partners or its suppliers/service providers. All other marks are the property of their respective owners. No trademark or service mark license is granted in connection with the materials contained on the Marketplace. Access to or use of the Marketplace does not authorize anyone to use any name, logo or mark in any manner. References on the Marketplace to any names, marks, products or services of third parties or hypertext links to third party sites or information are provided solely as a convenience to you after having express consent from third parties and do not in any way constitute or imply the Company’s endorsement, sponsorship or recommendation of the third party, the information, its product or services.
  • The Company is not responsible for the content of any third-party sites and does not make any representations regarding the content or accuracy of material on such sites. If you decide to access a link of any third-party websites, you do so entirely at your own risk and expense.
  • Wholesale Trading Terms
  • You acknowledge and agree that the terms and conditions set out on the Marketplace (including as contained herein – (Conditions-of-Supply and Wholesale Trade) are the terms and conditions applicable to any order placed by you on the App, unless a separate written instrument is executed in relation to a specified order to prevail over these Conditions of Contract

Objectionable Material

  • You understand that by using the Marketplace or any services provided on the Marketplace, you may encounter content that may be deemed by some to be offensive, indecent, or objectionable, which content may or may not be identified as such. You agree to use the Marketplace and any service at your sole risk and that to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, the Company and its affiliates shall have no liability to you for any content that may be deemed offensive, indecent, or objectionable to you.

Indemnity

  • You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its employees, directors, officers, agents and their successors and assigns from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including attorney’s fees, caused by or arising out of claims based upon a breach of any warranty, representation or undertaking in this User Agreement, or arising out of a violation of any applicable law (including but not limited in relation to intellectual property rights, payment of statutory dues and taxes, claims of libel, defamation, violation of rights of privacy or publicity, loss of service by other subscribers and infringement of intellectual property or other rights). This clause shall survive the expiry or termination of this User Agreement.

Limitation of Liability

  • The aggregate liability of the Company, if any, that is established and ordered by a court of competent jurisdiction pursuant to a claim, shall in no event extend beyond refund of the money charged from a user for purchases made pursuant to an order under which such liability has arisen and been established.
  • It is acknowledged and agreed that notwithstanding anything to the contrary, the Company shall not be liable, under any circumstances, whether in contract or in tort, for any indirect, special, consequential or incidental losses or damages, including on grounds of loss of profit, loss of reputation or loss of business opportunities.

Termination

  • This User Agreement is effective unless and until terminated, either by you or by the Company. You may terminate this User Agreement at any time, provided that you discontinue any further use of the Marketplace. The Company may terminate this User Agreement at any time and may do so immediately without notice, and accordingly deny you access to the Marketplace.
  • The Company’s right to any comments and to be indemnified pursuant to the terms hereof, shall survive any termination of this User Agreement. Any such termination of the User Agreement shall not cancel your obligation to pay for product(s) already ordered from the Marketplace or affect any liability that may have arisen under the User Agreement prior to the date of termination.
  • Governing & Jurisdiction
  • The User Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without giving effect to the principles of conflict of laws thereunder.
  • Any dispute or difference, whether on the interpretation or otherwise, in respect of any terms hereof shall be referred to an independent arbitrator to be appointed by the Company. Such arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding on the parties. The arbitration shall be in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as amended or replaced from time to time. The seat of arbitration shall be Delhi and the language of the arbitration shall be English.
  • Subject to the aforesaid, the Courts at Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any proceedings arising in respect of the User Agreement.

Email ID: If you allow us to access your email id then, it enables us to send various deals and offers directly to your email.

Photo/ Media/ Files: We take media storage permissions to cache the Grofers images to provide seamless and fast experience while browsing Grofers app.

Wi-Fi connection information: When you allow us the permission to detect your Wi-Fi connection, we optimize your experience such as more detailing on maps, better image loading etc.

Camera: You can grant camera permission as well to take pictures from your camera like that of the invoice, defected products etc., in our customer chat feature.

To the extent possible, we provide you the option of not divulging any specific information that you wish for us not to collect, store or use. You may also choose not to use a particular service or feature on the website/application and opt out of any non-essential communications from the Company.

Further, transacting over the internet has inherent risks which can only be avoided by you following security practices yourself, such as not revealing account/login related information to any other person and informing our customer care team about any suspicious activity or where your account has/may have been compromised.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS – GROFERS GRAND ORANGE BAG DAYS’ SALE

 Following are the Terms and Conditions (“TNCs”) governing the Grand Orange Bag Days Sale (“GOBD Sale”) – the biggest online grocery sale of the year, wherein if a user shops from Grofers website/mobile application (“Platform”), subject to the TNCs mentioned hereinafter, such user will get guaranteed Prize. The Prize under the GOBD Sale shall be in addition to, and not in substitution of, or derogation to, the terms and conditions governing the use/access of the Platform.

Term and Eligibility:

  1. The term of the GOBD Sale shall be valid from 18 January 2020, 12:00 AM to 26 January 2020,11:59 PM, both days inclusive, except in the case of Smart Bachat Club (“SBC”), wherein SBC members shall have early access to the GOBD Sale from 17 January 2020,12:00 AM (“Offer Period”).
  2. The GOBD Sale shall be applicable to all individuals who are Indian residents, and who have attained the age of eighteen (18) years, as on date of opening of the GOBD Sale.
  3. The GOBD Sale is valid for all users (new and existing) in Grofers delivery areas of the following cities:  Agra, Ahmedabad, Aligarh, Allahabad, Asansol, Bengaluru, Bhiwadi, Chandigarh,Delhi, Durgapur, Faridabad, Gurugram, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Meerut, Modinagar, Mohali, Moradabad, Mumbai, Noida, Panchkula, Panipat, Pune, Rohtak, Sonipat, Vadodara and Zirakpur. The offer is not applicable to the residents of Tamil Nadu (as per Tamil Nadu Prize Scheme (Prohibition) Act 1979) and wherever else prohibited by law. Residents of these states should not participate in this offer.
  4. Under the GOBD Sale, a user is eligible to win a Prize by successfully completing either/both of the two schemes – MOV Scheme and Card Game Scheme (as explained below and under the FAQs on the Platform). Depending on the registration, and/or placement of order and the corresponding successful delivery of goods placed through the Platform, a user can be divided into the following three categories:

  New User

A New user shall be a person who is registered with Grofers for the first time during the GOBD sale, or one who has registered himself/herself before the GOBD Sale and has placed an order in the past on the platform, but cancelled the order or has not been delivered the goods in the past.

  Existing User

An Existing user shall be a person who, at any time in the past, before the GOBD Sale, had placed orders on the Platform and such orders had matured on the delivery of the goods. Such persons shall be treated as Existing Users for the purpose of the GOBD Sale.

Registered User

Under the Card Game Scheme, a user shall be eligible to win a Prize as a Registered user, despite the fact that such user has placed an order or not in the past through platform, by successfully playing and completing the tasks under the Card Game.

Scheme: 

  1.  Employees of Grofers, are not eligible to participate in the GOBD Sale.

Availing of Prize:

 A prize may be awarded to a user on successful completion of the MOV Scheme  and/or Card Game Scheme through a virtual scratch card (“Prize”).

 There are two schemes through which a user shall be eligible for availing Prize during the GOBD Sale:

 Minimum Order Value Scheme (MOV Scheme) – To avail a Prize under the MOV Scheme, a New User is required to place an order worth minimum value of INR 1,000/- and an Existing User is required to place an order worth minimum INR 1,500/-. After the user has successfully placed an order through the Platform, s/he shall receive a virtual scratch card disclosing the information about the Prize. By participating in the GOBD Sale, it would be deemed that the user has agreed to be bound by the TNCs mentioned hereunder. The participation in the GOBD Sale is entirely voluntary.

The odds of winning a Prize depend upon the number of participant users. The Prize that may be awarded to the user is not transferable, not redeemable for cash and/or non-exchangeable for any other Prize.

Prize is applicable on the entire cart and is therefore applicable on the purchase of items such as oil, ghee and baby food products.

The products of all the registered, listed and participating partners/sellers of Grofers shall be accessible and offered during the GOBD Sale. All exclusive offers, deals and promotions are offered by the participating partners/sellers of Grofers during the GOBD sale.

 By availing the benefits provided through the GOBD Sale, the user agrees to receive commutation(s) from Grofers and/or its affiliates relating to the GOBD Sale.

User shall provide all the requisite correct information, including, but not limited to, name, address, contact number, alternate mobile number, email ID, etc. In case a user who has won the Prize under the GOBD Sale cannot be contacted, or is disqualified for any reason, Grofers reserves the right to determine an alternate user for such Prize, or not award that user’s Prize, in its sole discretion. 

Grofers holds no warranty and shall make no representation regarding the quality of the Prize. The visuals, pictures, etc., shown on the Platform or otherwise are for promotional purposes only and shall not be construed as the exact representation of the Prize.

The user shall not make any demand in respect of the make, variation in sizes, or otherwise the physical features in respect of Prize that he/she has won.

Any additional cost (if any), which is to be borne in relation to take the delivery/possession of the prize(s) by the winner has to be borne by the winner himself/herself. 

Grofers does not in any manner endorse or support or promote, in any specific manner, the purchase of products or undertaking of transactions inter alia that are subject to Prize(s)/gift(s).

Grofers may substitute prizes, vary, delete, add or amend any of the terms and conditions set out herein from time to time and may further withdraw the entire GOBD Sale without prior notice to the customers if it so deems fit. Grofers disclaims any responsibility to notify participant users of any aspect related to the conduct of the GOBD Sale.

 The user may be eligible to win Prize through the scratch card procured after the successful placing an order through Grofers in terms of the MOV Scheme, and/or after collection of four cards under the Card Game Scheme. In no event shall any individual be eligible to claim Prize arising out of both the offers at the same time.

  1.   A single scratch card cannot be used multiple times.
  2. Grofers assumes no responsibility for complying with the date of delivery intimated to the user. Grofers shall not be liable for undelivered, lost, delayed, misdirected, or misaddressed delivery.
  3. By accepting a prize, the user agrees that Grofers may use the user’s name and/or image for advertising and promotional purposes, without additional consent from or compensation to the user.
  4. The offer under GOBD Sale is valid till stocks lasts.

Cancellation

A user forfeits his/her right to a Prize during the GOBD Sale when a user cancels his/her order placed through the Platform.

Tax/Other Costs

Any valuation of the Prize stated above is based on available information provided to Grofers, and the value of any Prize awarded to a user may be reported for tax purposes, as required by law. Each user is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all costs/taxes/levies/TDS, as may be applicable, on the Prize, and paying any expenses associated with any Prize that is not specifically provided for in these TNCs. In a case where a user wins a car or scooter during the GOBD Sale, he/she shall be liable to bear the insurance, registration and delivery charges for the same. Each user shall provide Grofers with valid identification documents listed at Para 11 of the TNCs before any Prize will be awarded, as and when required by Grofers, for the purpose of the GOBD Sale.

 Publicity/Use of Personal Information

By participating, where allowed by law, all users grant Grofers exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, Social media IDs, voices, videotape, and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other sales and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use. By participating in the GOBD Sale, where allowed by law, users agree that Grofers may disclose personal information obtained from users in the GOBD Sale to third parties and use such information for marketing and other purposes. 

 Disqualification/Fraud

Failure to comply with the TNCs is a cause for immediate disqualification from the GOBD Sale. Grofers reserves the right to disqualify any user not conforming to the TNCs at any time. In a case where it is determined that an in-eligible user, who is disqualified to participate in the GOBD Sale, wins a Prize, Grofers reserves all rights to the ownership and return of the Prize and all costs associated with remedying any Prize award to an in-eligible user.

Misrepresentation

Grofers shall assume no responsibility for any communication not authorised by Grofers with respect to the GOBD Sale. This includes, but is not limited to, any fraud or misrepresentation caused by any third-party administrators resulting in loss or injury to the user. Users are cautioned that Grofers does not run any call centre, and does not make available for communication any landline/mobile number/email on the internet/social media/any other electronic means to its  users. By participating in the GOBD Sale, each user waives any and all claims of liability against Grofers, its employees and agents, GOBD Sale sponsors and their respective employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss that may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the GOBD Sale, or from the use of any Prize. 

Conduct and Decisions

By participating in the contest, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of Grofers. Any user who violates any TNCs, and/or gains an unfair advantage by participating in the GOBD Sale, or wins Prize by using fraudulent means shall be disqualified. Unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening behaviour is prohibited. Grofers will interpret these TNCs and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the TNCs or the GOBD Sale, and Grofers’ decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. If the conduct or outcome of the GOBD Sale is affected by human error, any mechanical malfunctions or failures of any kind, intentional interference or any event beyond the control of Grofers, Grofers reserves the right to terminate the GOBD Sale, or make such other decisions regarding the outcome as Grofers deems appropriate. All decisions shall be made by Grofers and shall be final. Grofers may waive any of these TNCs at its sole discretion. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately circumvent, disrupt, damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the GOBD Sale is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Grofers reserves the right to seek civil and/or criminal prosecution and/or damages from any such user to the fullest extent permitted by law.

(i) The image of the product shown is only for representational purposes. The actual product will depend on the availability at the dealership when the winner visits the dealership for redemption of the reward.

(ii) The winner will be contacted by a Grofers Customer Relationship Executive within 48 hours of the winning scratch card being revealed. There are 2 steps to claim this reward : 

Step 1 : The code you have received from Grofers is a temp-code which has to be sent via SMS

(i) To claim your reward, SMS the code found inside the scratch card to 8422005001. SMS – GOBD Space <Code> to <8422005001>, to receive the Uber Gift Voucher.

  5. This Instant Gift Voucher is for one time use & any unused balance cannot be used again or be exchanged for cash.

  5. Orange Cash will not be applicable on oil, ghee, baby food products, club membership, and delivery charges.
  6. Orange Cash will not be applicable on promotional cashback in your wallet.

Grofers Cash – Rs. 1000

  1. Cashback will reflect in a user’s Grofers Wallet account within 72 hours of the conclusion of an eligible successful transaction, i.e., post delivery.

Order cancellations/ Missing Items and refund:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS – GROFERS GRAND ORANGE BAG DAYS’ SALE

 

Following are the Terms and Conditions (“TNCs”) governing the Grand Orange Bag Days Sale (“GOBD Sale”) – the biggest online grocery sale of the year, wherein if a user shops from Grofers website/mobile application (“Platform”), subject to the TNCs mentioned hereinafter, such user will get guaranteed Prize. The Prize under the GOBD Sale shall be in addition to, and not in substitution of, or derogation to, the terms and conditions governing the use/access of the Platform.

 

Term and Eligibility:

  1. The term of the GOBD Sale shall be valid from 18 January 2020, 12:00 AM to 26 January 2020,11:59 PM, both days inclusive, except in the case of Smart Bachat Club (“SBC”), wherein SBC members shall have early access to the GOBD Sale from 17 January 2020,12:00 AM (“Offer Period”).

  1. Tax/Other Costs

Any valuation of the Prize stated above is based on available information provided to Grofers, and the value of any Prize awarded to a user may be reported for tax purposes, as required by law. Each user is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all costs/taxes/levies/TDS, as may be applicable, on the Prize, and paying any expenses associated with any Prize that is not specifically provided for in these TNCs. In a case where a user wins a car or scooter during the GOBD Sale, he/she shall be liable to bear the insurance, registration and delivery charges for the same. Each user shall provide Grofers with valid identification documents listed at Para 11 of the TNCs before any Prize will be awarded, as and when required by Grofers, for the purpose of the GOBD Sale.

 

  1. Publicity/Use of Personal Information

By participating, where allowed by law, all users grant Grofers exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, Social media IDs, voices, videotape, and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other sales and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use. By participating in the GOBD Sale, where allowed by law, users agree that Grofers may disclose personal information obtained from users in the GOBD Sale to third parties and use such information for marketing and other purposes. 

  1. Disqualification/Fraud

Failure to comply with the TNCs is a cause for immediate disqualification from the GOBD Sale. Grofers reserves the right to disqualify any user not conforming to the TNCs at any time. In a case where it is determined that an in-eligible user, who is disqualified to participate in the GOBD Sale, wins a Prize, Grofers reserves all rights to the ownership and return of the Prize and all costs associated with remedying any Prize award to an in-eligible user.

 

  1. Misrepresentation

Grofers shall assume no responsibility for any communication not authorised by Grofers with respect to the GOBD Sale. This includes, but is not limited to, any fraud or misrepresentation caused by any third-party administrators resulting in loss or injury to the user. Users are cautioned that Grofers does not run any call centre, and does not make available for communication any landline/mobile number/email on the internet/social media/any other electronic means to its  users.   1. Release

By participating in the GOBD Sale, each user waives any and all claims of liability against Grofers, its employees and agents, GOBD Sale sponsors and their respective employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss that may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the GOBD Sale, or from the use of any Prize. 

  1. Conduct and Decisions

By participating in the contest, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of Grofers. Any user who violates any TNCs, and/or gains an unfair advantage by participating in the GOBD Sale, or wins Prize by using fraudulent means shall be disqualified. Unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening behaviour is prohibited. Grofers will interpret these TNCs and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the TNCs or the GOBD Sale, and Grofers’ decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. If the conduct or outcome of the GOBD Sale is affected by human error, any mechanical malfunctions or failures of any kind, intentional interference or any event beyond the control of Grofers, Grofers reserves the right to terminate the GOBD Sale, or make such other decisions regarding the outcome as Grofers deems appropriate. All decisions shall be made by Grofers and shall be final. Grofers may waive any of these TNCs at its sole discretion. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately circumvent, disrupt, damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the GOBD Sale is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Grofers reserves the right to seek civil and/or criminal prosecution and/or damages from any such user to the fullest extent permitted by law. 

  1. Documents

The winners who win Prizes such as car, Activa, mobile phone and/or washing machine shall have to share with Grofers the self-certified copies of certain documents, including but not limited to:

  1. a) Pan card
  2. b) Aadhar card or Voter ID card
  3. c) Other such documents, as may be communicated by Grofers

 

  1. Compliance with Law

The conduct of the GOBD Sale shall be governed by the applicable laws of India, which shall take precedence over any terms or conditions prescribed herein. Courts at New Delhi shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising hereunder.

(A) Cars

Congratulations! You have won a Maruti Suzuki Swift* in Grofers Grand Orange Bag Days (18th to 26th January 2020). Please make a note of the following Terms & Conditions:

(i) The image of the product shown is only for representational purposes. The actual product will depend on the availability at the dealership when the winner visits the dealership for redemption of the reward.

(ii) The winner will be contacted by a Grofers Customer Relationship Executive within 12 hours of the winning scratch card being revealed. The Executive would ask for the following documents from the winner : Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Driving License. The winner would also receive details of the dealership from which the reward can be claimed.

Please note that the prize can only be redeemed by the winner in person; hence, the documents submitted at this stage are going to be primary identifiers of the eligible winner and the dealer would ask for the originals at the time of redemption of the reward.

(iii) The maximum benefit extended under the reward by Grofers is of Rs. 5,00,000 (five lakh rupees) only. All statutory payments including taxes/duties etc., and any other costs including insurance, registration etc of the prizes won should be borne by the prize winners.

(iv) However, 30% of this value (i.e., Rs. 1,50,000) will have to be paid by the winner as a TDS, as per laws applicable under Section 194B, as defined by the Income Tax Act. The winner has to compulsorily pay this amount to retain eligibility of the reward. This amount has to be paid at the dealership itself.

(v) The winner will be given 24 hours post the scratch card is revealed, to accept the conditions of the reward and submit a written e-consent of paying 30% of the reward value as gift tax and also on allowing the usage of the following details for any promotional medium as seen fit by Grofers India Pvt Ltd : Name, picture, social media IDs and city/locality of residence. This eConsent will have to be sent to the following id : <GOBD@grofers.com>

(vi) In the event of the winner not submitting a consent for the reward within this timeline, this endowment shall be considered cancelled and no substitute of any kind shall be made available to the winner.

(vii) The actual redemption of the reward would happen at the dealership venue communicated to the user. The winner would have to show original ID documents (should be the same as those earlier submitted to Grofers) and pay the 30% Gift Tax amount (i.e. Rs. 1,50,000) before redemption. Any costs on registration, insurance, etc., also have to be borne by the winner. Under no circumstances shall Grofers’ share of the sponsorship exceed Rs. 5,00,000.

(viii) Grofers may arrange a rewards distribution ceremony at the dealership. Winners will be expected to support it and give their consent for the usage of any visuals of the event across promotional media.

(ix) Grofers will help file the relevant tax documents to ensure the winner gets a tax credit for the 30% TDS  paid by him/her. The winner will also need to send a copy of the final invoice to Grofers to facilitate the tax credit.

(x) Grofers reserves the right to use the following details of the winner on any promotional medium, as seen fit by Grofers: Name, picture, social media IDs and city/locality of residence.

(xi) The reward is not exchangeable against cash or any other substitute.

(xii) The reward stands automatically cancelled in case the winner cancels the Grofers order against which the reward was won.

(xiii) The prize will be subject to any additional terms and conditions of the supplier of the prize. Grofers India Pvt.Ltd. is in no way liable for any issue arising out of those terms and conditions, or any breach arising therefrom.

(xiv) All Grofers Employees are strictly ineligible to receive this reward.

(xv) If any information provided by the Winner (including, without limitation, any personal information submitted during consent) is provided fraudulently, or is inaccurate, not current or incomplete, Grofers has the right to terminate the grant of the Winner’s reward.

(xvi) Grofers holds the rights and the final authority on deciding the dealer through which the final reward redemption is done.

 

(B) Activas

(i) The image of the product shown is only for representation purposes. The actual product will depend on the availability at the time of dispatch of the reward.

(ii) The winner will be contacted by a Grofers Customer Relationship Executive within 24 hours of the winning scratch card being revealed. The Executive would ask for an identification document : which can be either of the following documents: Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Voters ID card. The winner would also receive a link by SMS to fill a basic form to capture the winner’s contact and address details. Please note that this address can’t be different from the winner’s registered address on Grofers.

Please note that the prize can only be redeemed by the winner in person; hence, the documents submitted at this stage are going to be primary identifiers of the eligible winner and the delivery partner would ask for the original documents at the time of delivery of the reward.

(iii) The winner will receive the washing machine within 3-4 weeks of receiving a confirmation of winning the reward by Grofers.

(iv) Please note that the reward will be dispatched by a third-party Delivery Partner; hence, it will be sent separately and not as part of the regular Grofers order. Tracking details of the reward shipment will be shared within 7-10 days of the winner receiving a confirmation of winning the reward.

(v) Grofers reserves the right to use the following details of the winner on any promotional medium as seen fit by Grofers: Name, picture, social media IDs and city/locality of residence.

(vi) In the event of any delay in receiving the reward, winners are requested to contact the delivery partner directly.

(vii) Winners will not receive an invoice for the reward upfront, as this is a reward won by the customer. However, a warranty card will be provided to the winner to facilitate easy access to service centre facilities, in case of any maintenance needed subsequently on the Washing Machine. Any service liabilities post delivery of the Washing Machine will be between the winner and Whirlpool.

(ix) The reward is not exchangeable against cash or any other substitute.

(x) The reward stands automatically cancelled in case the winner cancels the Grofers order against which the reward was won.

(xi) In case of any manufacturing defects in the Washing Machine on arrival, a complaint needs to be raised with <GOBD@grofers.com>. This has to be raised within 24 hours of the Washing Machine being delivered.

(xii) All Grofers Employees are strictly ineligible to receive this reward.

(xiii) If any information provided by the Winner (including, without limitation, any personal information submitted during consent) is provided fraudulently or is inaccurate, not current or incomplete, Grofers has the right to terminate the grant of the Winner’s reward.

(D) Mobile Phones

(i) The image of the product shown is only for representation purposes. The actual product will depend on the availability at the time of dispatch of the reward.

(ii) The winner will receive a communication from Grofers within 48 hours of the winning scratch card being revealed. The winner will receive a link via SMS to fill a basic form to capture his/her contact and address details. Please note that this address should be the same as the winner’s registered address on Grofers.

Please note that the prize can only be redeemed by the winner in person; hence, the documents submitted at this stage are going to be the primary identifier of the eligible winner and the delivery partner would ask for originals at the time of delivery of the reward.

(iii) The winner will receive the phone within 3-4 weeks of receiving a confirmation of winning the reward by Grofers.

(E) Uber

There are 2 steps to claim this reward : 

Step 1 : The code you have received from Grofers is a temp-code which has to be sent via SMS

(i) To claim your reward, SMS the code found inside the scratch card to 8422005001. 

SMS – GOBD Space <Code> to <8422005001>, to receive the Uber Gift Voucher.

(ii) Temp-code is valid till 15th Feb 2020.

Step 2 : The Gift Card Pin received via SMS has to be added to your Uber Account

Gift cards apply Uber credits to an Uber account. To redeem a gift card:

(i) Make sure you have the latest version of the Uber app

(ii) Tap the menu icon and select “Payment”

 (iii) Tap “Add Payment Method” and select “Gift Card”

 (iv) Enter your gift card pin (no spaces)

 (v) Once a gift card is added to an Uber account, it can’t be transferred. You can’t reload a gift card, but you can add as many gift cards as you like, with each up to a maximum of Rs 10,000.

HOW TO USE UBER GIFT CARDS

Uber gift cards purchased in India can be used only for rides or UberEATS orders in India.

  1. Uber gift cards can be only used for rides or UberEATS orders in the country where the gift card was purchased. They can’t be used for UberRUSH, family profiles, or scheduled rides.

(F) Pizza Hut

  1. This Pizza Hut voucher is valid till June 30, 2020.
  2. More than one voucher can be used in one bill.
  3. This GIFT VOUCHER can be redeemed across all Pizza Hut Dine In (Pizza Hut) and Delivery (PHD) stores across India. The customer has to inform the cashier that you plan to use the GV/GC for making payments before billing.
  4. Please note, this voucher cannot be used to make payments online (i.e., this voucher can’t be used for online orders).
  5. This Instant Gift Voucher is for one time use & any unused balance cannot be used again or be exchanged for cash.
  6. Beneficiary should announce the intent of using the Instant Gift Voucher before placing the order.
  7. No Credit note/Refund for the unused amount of the GV/GC will be given.
  8. Pizza Hut GV/GC CANNOT be revalidated once expired.
  9. The person who has a GV/GC Code is deemed to be the beneficiary.
  10. No cash refund will be given against the voucher (including case of loss or otherwise).
  11. Yum Restaurants or affiliates are not responsible on account of the beneficiary sharing the Instant Gift Voucher number and the Voucher getting redeemed on that account.
  12. Instant Gift Vouchers will be accepted across all outlets mentioned, but Yum Restaurants/its authorized franchisees at their sole discretion may add or remove an outlet from the list without any prior notice.
  13. Rights to amend terms & conditions are reserved with Yum, without prior notice. Pizza Hut makes full efforts to accept all Instant Gift Vouchers, but on account of technical/administrative reasons, an outlet may refuse to accept vouchers.
  14. If an Instant Gift Voucher gets blocked on account of technical issues, it would get activated in 72 hours.
  15. The user unconditionally accepts all T&C and shall not raise any disputes in this regard. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at New Delhi.

  1. G) Orange Cash
  1. Orange Cash will be credited within 72 hours after the order is delivered.
  2. This Orange Cash can be used to get 10% off on every order.
  3. Validity Period for using this Orange Cash: 27 January 2020 to 31 August 2020.
  4. No minimum order value is required to use the Orange Cash.
  5. Orange Cash will not be applicable on oil, ghee, baby food products, club membership, and delivery charges.
  6. Orange Cash will not be applicable on promotional cashback in your wallet.
  7. Bank/wallet offers can be used with this Orange Cash.
  1. H) Grofers Cash – Rs. 1000
  1. Cashback will reflect in a user’s Grofers Wallet account within 72 hours of the conclusion of an eligible successful transaction, i.e., post delivery.
  2. This Grofers Cash is valid for usage on Grofers till 31 March 2020.
  3. Cashback is not applicable on ghee, edible oil, baby food products and any cashback amount used from Grofers Wallet while placing the order.
  4. No Cashback shall be available for orders that are canceled. Any Cashback offered may be recovered by the Company, without notice to the user, in such cases. Any Cashback offered for orders for which a refund claim is made, whether in part or in full, shall be adjusted to remove Cashback attributable to the extent of the order refunded. 
  5. Cashback shall mean the grant of credit for the amount of eligible cashback and shall  be added to the user’s ‘Promotional/Cashback’ section of his/her ‘Grofers Wallet’ account, and shall in no event imply that the cashback shall be credited to a user’s bank account or card account or refunded in cash at any time. Grofers Wallet is powered by Citruspay and use thereof is subject to additional terms and conditions.
  6. The Company reserves the right to, without liability or prejudice to any of its other rights, at any time, without previous notice and from time to time, withdraw/suspend/amend/cancel the Cashback offers, and the terms applicable thereto.
  7. Cashback credit available is usable only on the application and no other platform, website, store or otherwise. Promotional cashback credited can be subject to expiry at the discretion of Grofers.
  8. Users shall not hold the Company or its group entities, or affiliates, their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, responsible for or liable for, any actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, charges and expenses that a user claims to have suffered, sustained or incurred, or claims to suffer, sustain or incur, by way of and/or on account of any purchase made through the Application, whether with or without Cashback.
  9. The Company does not in any manner endorse or support or promote, in any specific manner, the purchase of products or undertaking of transactions inter alia that are subject to Cashbacks.
  10. Cashbacks are available only on versions 2.5 and above of the Application.
  1. I) Free product inaam
  1. The product inaam will be delivered along with the Grofers order.
  2. If in case of issues with the quality of the inaam, the customer has to present the proof to Grofers. The final decision in case of dispute will rest with Grofers.
  3. If the free product inaam is not delivered to the eligible customer, s/he would get  Rs 100 Grofers Cash into their account as the value of the product. This cashback will be credited within 72 hours post raising of the complaint by the customer.
  4. Each customer is eligible to avail multiple inaams with multiple orders for the duration between 18 Jan 2020 and 26 Jan 2020.
  1. J) Coupon code: (Rs.100 off coupon)
  1. Minimum order value for redeeming the coupon is Rs.1000.
  2. Coupon code can be redeemed only once per user.
  3. Coupon code will be unlocked within 72 hrs after the complete order is delivered to the user.
  4. Coupon code is valid on Grofers till 31 March 2020.
  5. Coupon code can’t be clubbed with any coupon code/bank offer.
  6. Coupon code is not applicable with use of Orange Cash received before 9 August 2019.
  7. Coupon code can be clubbed with Orange Cash received on and after 9 August 2019 to avail additional 10% discount on the entire order.
  8. Coupon code will not be applicable on oil, ghee, baby food products, club membership and delivery charges.
