    It’s perfectly fine, if you don’t want to spend too much time in the kitchen but also want to make something delectable for your loved one. With the Grofers Happy Day Choco Spread, we bring you a sweet treat sourced straight from Italy, ready to be spooned!

    Use this chocolatey delight made from the finest quality of hazelnuts and plate the perfect morning treat. Here are a few recipe ideas to get you started:

    Oat to Chocolate

     Prep time : 10 minutes

    Serves 2


    * 70g oats

    * ½ tsp ground cinnamon

    * zest and juice of ½ an orange

    * 250ml milk

    For the topping

    * 2 tbsp Happy Day Choco Spread

    * 20g almonds or walnuts, roughly chopped

    * 1 tbsp pumpkin or sunflower seeds.


    1. Tip the oats and cinnamon into a mixing bowl and pour over the orange juice and zest and milk. Give everything a solid stir, cover and chill overnight in the fridge or chill in the freezer for 10 minutes.

    2. Divide the oats into 2 small bowls. Top with the Happy Day Choco Spread and scatter over the almonds or walnuts and pumpkin or sunflower seeds to serve!


    Prep time : 5 minutes

    Serves 1


    * ½ cup water

    * 1 tbsp instant coffee

    * 1 tbsp Happy Day Choco Spread

    * ¼ cup milk

    * sugar (as per your liking)


    1. Microwave half a cup of water in a mug on high for 2 minutes until its boiling.

    2. Stir in the instant coffee and a heaping spoonful of the Happy Day Choco Spread.

    3. Pour the milk in a cup and stir with a stirrer till it foams; OR pour the milk in a jar, lid the jar tightly and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.

    4. Heat the milk in the microwave for an additional 30 seconds.

    5. Pour the milk into the coffee and mix well.

    6. Spoon the foam of the milk and drop it on top of your latte and enjoy!

    Prep time : 30 minutes

    Serves 1-2

    Tip: Children love to help make and eat this!

    * 150g plain flour

    * 2 tsp baking powder

    * 2 tbsp refined ground sugar

    * 2 large eggs

    * 150g creme

    * 20g almonds roughly chopped

    * 2 large bananas

    * Happy Day Choco Spread


    1. Mix the flour, baking soda and sugar in a bowl and make a well in the centre.

    2. Beat the eggs lightly in another bowl.

    3. Pour the eggs with the flour mix.

    4. Start stirring the mixture as you add the creme. Keep whisking till you have a smooth consistency to the batter.

    5. Heat a knob of butter in the pan. When sizzling pour in a few tablespoons of the batter and let it fry for 2-3 minutes. Flip the pancake on the other side and repeat till both sides are golden brown.

    6. If the butter gets dark, wipe the pan and start fresh so that you don’t get a burnt taste.

    7. Chop up slices of banana and almonds and sprinkle on top of the pancakes

    8. Top it up with a big dollop of the Happy Day Choco Spread and enjoy

    Shake It Up

    Prep time : 5 minutes

    Serves 2


    * 250ml full fat chilled milk

    * 5-6 ice cubes

    * 1 ½ tbsp sugar

    * 1 tbsp Happy Day Choco Spread

    * ½ tsp cinnamon


    1. Add the milk, sugar and a heaping dollop of the Happy Day Choco Spread in a blender. Blend until completely smooth.

    2. Add ice cubes and cinnamon if desired and blend again, till the shake is frothy.

    3. Serve and enjoy!
