• Every year, Pradhanji, a 63-year-old potter from Delhi’s kumhar market, eagerly waits to make earthen diyas for sale during Diwali. Same as Pradhanji, for most of the potters, their annual peak is around festivals like Dussehra and Diwali. Like a lot of us, this year is tougher for them.

To support such local potters like Pradhanji, we have curated a special store for them on our platform. From Chandu Bhaiya in Delhi to Rajendra Kaka in Bangalore to Radha Tai in Mumbai to Bablu Babu in Kolkata, several local potters across the cities are part of this store on Grofers.

This special store sells the products not only made but also procured directly from these auspicious bearers of light. Grofers is not taking commissions or margins on these sales to ensure that 100% of your contributions go to these potters. In addition, the cost of delivery incurred in delivering their products safely at your doorstep is on us.

So together, let’s make this Diwali special by forming a chain of light and using one diya to lighten up another.

    Aaiye, saath milke, #EkDiyeSeDoGharRoshan karein.
